This Privacy Policy explains how ATLO Corp. ("ATLO", "we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Meowting (the "Service"). ATLO is the data controller.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name and email address from Google sign-in.
• Meeting content: audio you record or upload, and the transcripts, translations, speaker labels, and summaries generated from it.
• Usage data: transcription minutes, summary and assistant counts, and basic technical logs used for billing, quotas, and reliability.
• Payment data: handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive subscription status and limited billing metadata, but we do not collect or store your card details.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service (transcription, translation, summaries, assistant), to manage your subscription and usage limits, to secure the Service, and to communicate with you about your account.

3. Sub-processors

We share data with the following categories of providers only as needed to deliver the Service:

• Authentication provider: sign-in.
• Third-party AI processing providers: speech-to-text and speaker diarization.
• Third-party AI processing providers: translation, summaries, and the in-meeting assistant.
• Cloud infrastructure provider: hosting and storage (United States region).
• Third-party payment processor: payment processing and tax (Merchant of Record).

4. Data retention

• On the Free plan, meeting content is retained for 7 days. On paid plans, it is retained until you delete it or close your account.
• You can delete your meeting recordings, notes, and account at any time. Where possible, original audio is removed after transcription completes.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@atlo.ai.

6. International transfers

The Service is hosted in the United States and uses providers located in various countries. By using the Service, you understand your data may be processed outside your country of residence with appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

We protect data in transit and at rest using encryption, restrict access to our systems, and store provider API keys in a managed secrets service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
